Israel Festival’s Circle of Friends
We are excited to invite you to join the Israel Festival’s Circle of Friends and be part of this outstanding international cultural event’s continued growth.
Alongside and through its renowned artistic excellence, the festival serves as a professional platform for an encounter and a dialogue, championing social awareness, multiculturalism, and freedom of artistic expression.
The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Jerusalem Municipality, the Jerusalem Foundation, embassies, and businesses, and is a member of the European Festivals Association (EFA) and the Silk Road Festivals Association.
Friends of the festival enjoy carefully selected performances and special events during the festival and throughout the year.
Join us for the premiere event of the Israel Festival Circle of Friends at the upcoming 61st festival edition on 14.9.2022 for a special preview of the 2019 Venice Biennale Golden Lion Award winner Sun and Sea – an opera-performance from Lithuania that has since become a worldwide sensation, putting the climate crisis on the agenda of the art world. An intimate discussion with the Festival CEO and its artistic directors will follow.

Support levels
A donation of NIS 2,500: An invitation for two persons for the Sun and Sea special event. A pair of tickets to three shows of your choice at the Israel Festival.
A donation of NIS 5,000: An invitation for two persons for the Sun and Sea special event. Free entrance for two persons to all the shows of the Israel Festival and to an evening at the Jazz Festival.
A donation of NIS 10,000: An invitation for two persons for the Sun and Sea special event. Free entrance for two persons to all the shows of the Israel Festival and the Jazz Festival. Twenty tickets to one of the festival shows to a social organization of your choice.
A donation of NIS 25,000: An invitation for two persons for the Sun and Sea special event. Free entrance for two persons to all the shows of the Israel Festival and the Jazz Festival.
A designated donation for promoting various programs of the Israel Festival – assistance in subsidizing tickets for disadvantaged, conducting shows in public spaces, supporting an incubator for young creators, an original Israeli show, an international anchor show, etc.
A donation of NIS 100,000: Providing general support.
A donation of NIS 250,000: A special fund for bringing a large show and making it open to the wide audience in a public space.
