For the third year, the Israel Festival hosts Poem Balev – a series in collaboration with the Felicja Blumental Music Centre, featuring music written in Israel by local trailblazing composers and musicians.

This year, the series presents two programs. The first, focuses on one instrument – the cello – and features a range of musicians and works by familiar composers. At the center of the program – a tribute to the late composer and conductor Noam Sheriff. The second program features a sound exhibition and concert that combine acoustic and electronic music, curated by the composer Amnon Wolman.
