One of the most popular classical music events at the Israel Festival returns for the tenth consecutive year, under the musical direction of Gil Shohat. This year, the festival offers a musical celebration of the Russian genius Tchaikovsky, one of the greatest composers in history. This five-and-a-half-hour marathon centers on the theme of folkloric melody in Tchaikovsky’s work, bringing together the greatest Israeli talents in the world of classical music and international guests in an instrumental and vocal chamber event of uncompromising quality.
