For more than four decades, the Israel Festival has collaborated with pianist, composer, teacher, and lecturer Alexander Tamir, hosting classical concerts at the  Eden-Tamir Music Center, which he co-founded in 1968 with the late pianist Bracha Eden at the picturesque Ein Kerem neighborhood.

The Israel Festival is proud to celebrate Tamir’s  spirit  and legacy with “Salzburg in Ein Kerem” four concerts featuring compositions by Mozart and performed by Ensemble Millenniumm and the Jerusalem piano duo.  The program was curated by Dr. Dror Semmel, Tamir’s long time associate and the new Eden Tamir Music Center Director.
